Next Meeting 8.00pm Monday 26th April

The next public Zoom meeting about Pastures will be held on Monday 26th April at 8.00pm .

The meeting will be attended by Alison Griffin of The Mill in Walthamstow who will show how an active community campaign can develop into a vibrant community centre. We will be giving an update on progress with the campaign so far and we will also be presenting the proposed constitution of Save Our Pastures which if agreed will turn our campaign into an independent community group which can negotiate in its own right and apply for funding.

Since the March meeting we have set up a JustGiving page to raise funds for our campaign to help develop our plans to bring the buildings back into use with a wide range of activities. All contributions large or small are very welcome!

We’ve also developed a short community survey about how local people want to use Pastures in future -please complete it to give us your views and suggestions:

The meeting is open to all residents and users/potential users of Pastures who care about the future of the site. The immediate threat of redevelopment is over for now but we need to show that we can turn our plans into reality otherwise the site is not safe, so please attend if you can to show the local strength of feeling about its future.

Notes of the March public meeting about Pastures and our proposed Save Our Pastures constitution are below.
